1st scan tomoz-excited and scared at the same time

Hi im supposedly 12 weeks pregnant but ill find out tomoz the proper date,it's my first baby and first scan, im really really excited but scared at the same time, even though im quite healthy, i don't smoke and i haven't been drinkin. Think because it's my first, im like what if, don't know why, then i suppose eveyone has these feelings at some stage or another

to be honest, I think it's worthwhile to be at least nervous. Maybe it's only me, but if I went in expecting it to be great and then... well, sometimes scans do reveal bad news. Personally I take bad news better if I'm at least a little braced for the possibility.
Don't "worry" as such, just look at it as the first big hurdle in pregnancy -- and there are an awful lot more hurdles to come.
