3rd trimester, pressure feeling and BH

Hello

Currently 34 weeks pregnant with DC2. DC1 was an elective section so have never been in labour before. I’m getting daily braxton hicks and also a feeling of pressure in my pelvis which is quite intense at some points throughout the day.

wondering if anyone else has felt like this at a similar stage and if it resulted in an early labour? Or did you end up going to your due date or past it despite
these symptoms? Thanks!

I had exactly this a few weeks ago! I'm 38 weeks now but had this at 34 weeks, I think. I went and got checked out because I was sure the feeling of such pressure was too early. The doctor freaked out a bit and told me I had markers for premature labour (like a very short cervix) and ended up sending me to the hospital to get properly checked out. This is my 3rd pregnancy and my 2nd was so fast she was actually born in the car, so everyone is being very cautious this time! I was just prescribed magnesium and told to take it easy for a few weeks. Now everything is totally normal.
