Hi all

I had a private scan at 4pm the Saturday just gone which confirmed I was 7+6 (pretty much bang on what I was expecting) . We saw the heart beating away and it was a lovely experience.

The following morning (so around 15 hours after that scan) practically all of my symptoms had disappeared. First time in weeks without nausea, food aversion, fatigue etc

I am almost certain I am looking at a loss, but what makes me question myself (and perhaps I am clutching at straws) is just how quickly all my symptoms disappeared. Would my HCG levels really drop off that quickly?

Thank you for reading ✨

I am sorry you are worrying, apparently symptoms can come and go so don't count yourself out just yet, call the EPU and try to get in for a check, in regards loss of symptoms i had a missed miscarriage and my tests were still blazing positive the day i found out so HCG still very high, i didnt realise i had lost symptoms at the time but in hindsight i did.

That is not to say that it is a miscarriage, call the EPU and get checked and i am praying for a good result for you

Thank you for your reply @38andtrying , despite my making contact over two weeks ago I’ve still had nothing from my surgery so I’m not even on the books yet for a referral to an EPU. I have contacted them again today, but who knows when I’ll hear (good old NHS)

The place I had my private scan does follow-up first trimester scans for free so I am going to go there on Friday or Saturday if I’ve not started bleeding by then.

Something deep down is telling me I’ve lost the little bean, but hopefully I am wrong - thank you for your kind wishes

Please someone help -

I found out I was pregnant 4 weeks ago, I worked out I should be around 6 weeks, I went for a scan as was unsure of dates and they said they couldn’t see anything. My HCG was going down so they told me the pregnancy was not viable and a week later I bled, not too heavily but there were clots. I carried on testing until I got a negative and tried to move on. Two weeks later I took a test as felt a little off and it was blazing positive!! What could have happened? I have only had sex twice since this positive and that was before I miscarried (bled). Surely it can’t be a new pregnancy!? I’ve got a scan next Monday but until then I’m beside myself with worry. A molar pregnancy was mentioned on my first scan as I had what they called “cystic spaces” but then this was shut down due to my hcg being so low, 250 beta, then 128, then 57.

Has anyone experienced anything like this? And had any kind of happy outcome? I’m meant to be going away to Spain for my 30th today and it’s all I can think about, not to mention I’ve got a feeling my partner is going to propose after 3 years together and I just don’t feel I can be happy about anything right now 😪
