TMI, but how do you tell whether you have thrush or are just pregnant?

Throughout my pregnancy (nearly 8 months) have had a fair bit of discharge (sorry) but now am beginning to think maybe it's thrush? Doesn't itch or anything, just cannot be normal to have this much stuff? Anyone?

thrush is usually itchy. Is it smelly, a funny colour? They can be signs of infection which you need to get checked out.

Yup, it's thrush. Apparently. I must have had it for months and just ignored it or not really noticed. Most unlike thrush I've had before.

just been reading this - i think I might have this problem - what happens if this is untreated, is it harmful to the baby/me. I am 10 weeks

green-dr said it wasn't going to cause any problems, but obviously was uncomfortable and would be transferred back and forth. Also, can be transferred to baby in birth (but is easily treated>) HTH

yes, you can treat it during pregnancy, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice

I had it without it being itchy as well. Just thought it was a heavy discharge - no smell or anything. Did really notice an improvement when I got it treated though!
