Morning sickness but all day

Just after some advice on what has helped other people. I'm 8 weeks pregnant and really suffering with sickness which lasts all day. I'm currently off work because I'm so sick and bed bound. My GP has given me Cyclizine and prochlorperazine and neither are helping. I try using the anti sickness wrist bands & have tried ginger biscuits.

Has anyone else experienced this and found something that helped?

Thanks x

I have no useful advice really as this happened to me as well. I was so sick from about week 7. Just wanted to send some support as I remember just feeling so ill and hopeless. Maybe ask for different sickness tablets. There are multiple options and hopefully you can find one that helps?

@Babybaby66 thank you so much.
I really do feel hopeless at the moment. Whenever my partner asks how I am all I say is "feel sick" 😂 I know it's worth it though. I've contacted my Dr again so hopefully next week I can try something else.

Hi OP!
You may have HG.
I had it too it - eased off around 17-19 weeks
Nonstop sickness it was debilitating!
Had to go into hospital couple of times due to being dehydrated.
Bottom line - it does get better! :)

Find your way to the hyperemesis support thread on here. Lots of helpful advice that’s not eat ginger biscuits!

from me tho, eat whatever you fancy or feel you can stomach, you will not harm your baby. I lived on pitta bread and Brie and Diet Coke. It was all I could face, along with chocolate orange!

Keep on at your doctor until you get something that works. I found IV fluids and IV anti sickness medication kickstarted the oral medication working. Ordansetron was a real turning point for me.
Also icelollies and tinned fruit were a couple of things I found more manageable. Best of luck op
