Hi everyone,

I had heavy bleeding around 2 hours ago and rushed to the hospital. They scanned me straight away and said baby looked ok and heart was beating. They did an internal scan and said they couldn’t find any obvious cause but they are keeping me in overnight.

Im not sure what I want from writing this post but if anyone has any advice or its happened to them and everything has turned out fine, I’d love to hear.

Thank you x

I had this at 15 weeks, my 1 year old is currently in the bath (supervised by DH)

In my case it was partial placenta detachment. It was the worst moment of my life but the rest of my pregnancy was absolutely fine. Hugs x

Sorry you are going through this, ask them about subchorionic hematoma. Also if you're on fb there's a few groups on there with women who have been through this and more and have welcomed a healthy baby into the world. They have loads of advice of what you can try to do to help things.

Praying for you and baby 🙏🏼❤️

I had similar earlier this week 17+1 and they couldn't find the cause of my bleed 🩸 either. The air left my body when I wiped and saw it in the loo bowl. Hospital scanned me too along with internal and said to rest until my MW appt next week baby was moving around and ❤️ beating away. They didn't keep me in, we went for a private scan last night and all was well on that which has helped ease my anxiety and nerves. Hand hold from me and an unmumsnet 🤗
