Hi,
im Only 19 and I’ve previously had 6 miscarriages however today I had my 6 week scan and seen the heartbeat 💓. I was just wondering when did everybody start buying things? I’m only young so I need to be realistic in the fact I can’t just wait till last minute and buy it all in one go due to money , do you think wait till 12 weeks or 20 weeks to start buying things? I’m in full time work so I’m putting away 3/4 of my wages each week now to save but I’m a complete stress head so don’t really know if I save and buy in one go or slowly start buying things

Ahh seeing the heartbeat must of been amazing, it was for me after only one loss can’t imagine how you feel after six! I started buying bits after 12 weeks xx

It was amazing , just seeing the little flicker makes you realise it’s real . Still can’t get over that I’m growing my little bean 🙈. Yeah I think I’ll start at 12 weeks xx

The relief and happiness I felt seeing a heartbeat on scan at 9 weeks after 2 losses was amazing. Congratulations

I’m waiting until after my 20 weeks scan as want to make sure everything is ok first after a friend of mine had bad news at their 20 weeks scan. It’s rare for it to not all be fine after the 12 week scan being ok but I’m scared to tempt fate. It’s all personal choice though. I’ve just saved the money I would be spending on things each month so still have the same money to spend when I do buy

I'm only 4+5 but saw a bundle of baby clothes going cheap and bought it🙈I hate passing up on a good bargain. But I won't be buying anymore until I am well passed first trimester

I’d wait until after 20 weeks when things are more certain. It’s good that you’re saving already. There’s lots of people selling baby clothes second hand on Facebook and Vinted and so on- entire baby wardrobe for less than £20! Best of luck and try to resist all the cute baby outfits for now…
