I weighed about 9 half stone before pregnancy and I’m now 24 weeks and weigh 11st5.

im so worried I have put on way too much weight.
what’s the average weight gain?

It’s best not to weigh yourself or fixate on weight as it can depend on weight of baby, waters, placenta, extra blood flow plus your body stores fat ready for milk production. It’ll be different for each person. With my first I put on 3 stone, with my second I didn’t put on anything (but was a bit overweight at the start and was active in work)

Just make sure you are eating healthily and trying to do light exercise.

Women who are normal weight should gain about 2 stone and those who are underweight 3 stone. Sounds like you have nothing to worry about.
