20 week scan

Hi all I recently went to my 20 week and all was positive, the only thing she mentioned was that the babies bottom was down. When I’ve read the report it says ‘anomaly in 8 weeks please’ does this mean I have to go for another scan?

Indication usually refers to the reason for this scan being done. So in your case the order for it was done at your booking appointment most likely hence the requesting for a scan in 8 weeks time ie 20 weeks. So it’s an order for the scan you just had not for a future scan. Sorry if that doesn’t make sense it’s hard to explain typing it out!

In simpler terms that’s the information they put in to get the anomaly scan you just had not for a future scan
