Late period but negative pregnancy test

Hi all just wondering if anyone has taken a while to get a positive result on hpt? My period is only 3 days late but if i was pregnant I thought it would have showed up by now even if faint.

HPTs aren't amazingly reliable because we all have different levels of pregnancy hormone and every brand has a different tolerance, blood tests are much more reliable. I'd ask your GP for one, although they might tell you to wait until it's been a week because our cycles are rarely like clockwork and 3 days isn't that late. You could always pay privately? Good luck!

I had a period that was 2 weeks late last month. Many, many negative tests.

I drove myself mad wondering if I was pregnant during that time.

Do you know when you ovulated this month?

Mine were negative at 2 days late.. positive at 5 days late.

Depends on when you ovulated - I thought I was 10 days further than I was (based off my 'period calculation') and it just turns out I ovulated late so showed up on the test later. Keep checking :) any line means pregnant, even if faint

Fingers crossed for you!!! I was due to start my period on Wednesday. Done the deed last Friday (3rd) and I wasn't careful as I was sure I'd passed my ovulation window. Currently 3 days late and still a bfn - but it has only been a week since we DTD so don't know when to test again lol

Who knew you could potentially fall pregnant on day 23 of a 28 day cycle??

Did you period ever arrive? I'm in the same position, 6 days late and multiple negative pregnancy tests :(
