Turning into a serial poster but I just find it so helpful to have you lot to talk to about these things!

Welcomed our second via elective the other day (first was emergency), and we are so so happy 🥰

However I’m finding myself not very patient and resilient in the face of pain from the surgery this time around - I can’t remember much of my recovery from last time!!!

I want to hear your stories - how did you manage your pain? When did it start to decrease? When will I stop feeling so immobile?!

Everything else has been amazing and I’m so grateful for the safe arrival of my baby, just sleep deprived and impatient at this stage!

Congratulations on your baby, I had a c section a year ago, I found all the pain relief they gave to be great, it was just getting out of bed on sitting down I found really hard, I think after about 2 weeks if I can remember I was so much better tho, still not 100% but was going out for short walks etc, I didn't drive for the recommended 6 weeks but I feel mobility wise etc I could have done it no problem
