Pinching on one side

Hi, I'm newly pregnant, just 4 weeks, I had a missed miscarriage back in December and obviously very nervous.

I have been having a pinched feeling which comes every few seconds and goes, this is a constant feeling which I've had now for around 24 hours, its on my right side low down. Its not sore really but just a wee pinch, anything I should be worried about?

Hi OP, I came on here for the exact same reason! I had a missed miscarriage in feb, and now 4 weeks pregnant, and had the pinching on my right side low down for the last couple of days! And of course I am nervous and think the worst! How was everything for you since your post? X

HI @Bethbb123 i am currently 14w+4, everything so far going great so i am thinking the pinching was a good sign! hope same for you :)

Ahh yey congratulations! Pleased all is okay! Fingers crossed for me! Debated going for a private scan at 8/9 weeks as I lost at 9 weeks last time. But I don’t know if it will bring me any reassurance or if I will still stress until that 12 week scan! X

Congratulations, i am hoping all is well for you! and i am sure it will be x

I was so nervous, i had 5 scans before 12 weeks lol 2 private scans and then i was worried as i had lost symptoms and went to EPU, they discovered all was ok and I was having twins! when i say ok, ok with baby a, baby b was small and while they had a heartbeat the gestational sac was crowded, unfortunately i lost baby b at 9 weeks and that is why i had to go back for scans, but baby a seems to be hanging in tight

if i was you i would go get a scan, it will put your mind at ease, but it only works for a short space of time, did you find out at 9 weeks the last time? or was that when baby stopped growing?

Ahh I’m sorry about the loss of baby B, but glad everything is going well with baby A! It’s such a worry isn’t it!
I think I will book one maybe about 8 weeks!
I was 9 weeks when I found out heart beat had stopped. So not sure when it happened. I had a scan at 6.5 weeks and heart beat was found, so it happened sometime between then and 9 weeks! X

I had this same pinching at 4 weeks pregnant for both my pregnancies ... (my little girl is now 3, and my little boy is due next month!) At the time midwife told me it's just the place where the embryo is burying into the womb, so like a deepeper implantation pain. I'm not a medic of course so you should get it checked, but just to offer my reassuring experience that I had this same thing and all was fine x

Thank you! Congratulations on expecting your little boy!!
hopefully that is the case for me 🤞just so nervous after my miscarriage! I’ve got lower back ache the last 3 days, and I don’t recall having that with my two children. So of course I’m now stressing about that too 🤯 haha x
