Will I regret 3rd baby?

Hi,

I have just found out I am pregnant with my third child. I already have 2 boys who are 3 & 5. I’ve always thought I wanted another baby but now it’s happened ( Wasn’t planned ) I’m kind of freaking out. Will I cope? How will I manage? Will I regret it? By the time baby comes my sons will both be in full time education so I guess that will make it easier but I’m scared. Has Anybody got any advice?

I've just had my third (she's 3 weeks tomorrow) and have a 5yo and 1.5yo.

Was scared shitless when I brought her home from hospital and 1.5yo was hysterical, tried to kick baby in the head and pull her away from me and sit in my lap instead! And then both kids started waking up in the night and all piling into my bed so no one was getting any sleep on top of the newborn waking up.

I thought it was going to be impossible. As in, I was genuinely afraid and panicking that I wouldn't be able to cope.

Fast forward two more weeks and everything is much calmer and more settled :) the kids love their baby sister and I'm thinking we can do this!

But I'm feeling VERY done. Complete in a way I didn't before.

In terms of advice all I'd say is...you have to roll with it. Sleep when you can. Prioritise the essentials. Remember the really tough bit doesn't last forever.
