Pregnancy smells

I know that smells aversions are common but I'm now 16 weeks and can't bear to be anywhere near my husband. It doesn't matter if he showers, I just can't bear his musk. It does get worse after he's eaten and cooked but even after a shower I can still smell him. He's sleeping in a separate room and when I go in there of a morning, I can still smell him. This is upsetting both of us and I thought this would only last the first trimester. I have had morning sickness which is being treated with medication. Has anybody else been in this situation in the 2nd trimester and will it get better or last the entire pregnancy?

I was the same and unfortunately it lasted right through the pregnancy, everyone’s different though and I hope it gets easier for you, it’s hard to explain just how strong and horrible everything smells to others, even smells you usually love. Good luck with everything and Congratulations on your pregnancy

@Enfys80 I can sympathise with you! I'm 17 weeks and have noticed in the last couple of days my smells have gone through the roof. A guy in a supermarket walked past me his smell was so strong I had to do a diversion i the shop every time I saw him as it made me feel sick! Your not alone! Xxx I hope it gets better soon! X
