Codeine in pregnancy?

Hi Ladies, I'm 28 weeks +5, Does anyone take/been prescribed Dihydrocodeine 30mg?
Or just any codeine based tablets, cocodomal etc. I have got 2 different types of Arthiritis in my spine, cant take anti inflammitories anymore, so with these I have been told its OK to take throughout, but as ive read conflicting things about it in the third trimester I wanted to see if anyone had any experiences? ❤️ I've been prescribed another repeat prescription of the same dose, will my baby have a chance of getting used to it if I still take it now and then none in the last 4 weeks leading up to birth?
Another thing I was told that it was only to be avoided last 4 weeks leading up to birth. Scared 😢 Thank you in advance and I'm sorry for the long post! 🫣😞 xxx

God love you, you must be in agony. I'm allergic to codeine so can't take it however the hospital was going to prescribe it for pelvic girdle and my friend was on regular codeine when pregnant with her twins for her pelvis x

@Stephanie226 thank you lovely! Nice to have some reassurance, It's not easy I did have a steroid injection a few weeks ago which has eased the pain a bit, I have read try not to take it after 30 weeks now I'm panicking that my body will of got too used to them and will make me poorly, time will tell, might just try and stop taking them slowly 🫣🫠 xx

Hey you may not see this as it’s an old post… I am having a section in less than 2 weeks and have had to take codeine throughout my whole pregnancy. I am now panicking about how baby will be when born. Did you take them throughout the whole pregnancy and how was your little one when born?
