Hi everyone - quite worried or maybe this is totally normal. I feel so so exhausted, totally flat - anytime I walk it hurts (head is down and banging on cervix) and nausea has come back. Today I feel emotional and honestly I look so pale and rough. Had anyone had this during late pregnancy? Could it be a sign of early Labour?

I hear you, I feel very similar, completely shattered, in agony from rib flare/ aching hips, braxton hicks multiple times a day 😫 unfortunately we’re just at that point of the pregnancy when everything becomes uncomfortable and difficult! I think it’s probably our body’s way of telling us now is time to slow down and take it easy (unfortunately I’ve got two other kids who don’t understand that)

sorry no advice but I understand!

No this is great advice and thank you! 🥺 I feel useless and such a bad mum to my 18 month old. I'm sure the baby will come sooner... feels like it's trying to come out every day 😵‍💫

@iloveburmese3 I am exactly the same. 32 weeks and just knackered. Got 2 weeks left and work and ready to pack it in now.
My OH has to go home to his parents as his dad's ill. They live in wales and us in London and I'm petrified of going in to labour as he's not here!
I keep having to tell myself I've got a little way to go yet lol

Oh Scarlett I feel for you! Just pack in work - tell your doctor you need to rest and he can write a note to your work saying it's important you stay at home. Reassuring we are all in the same boat - I had no idea the third trimester would be this hard this time. So much easier with my first but this is a boy and measuring big. But just so emotional all the time. Also I feel all 'iggled' best way to describe my body, not itchy just iggled...am I making sense? Ignore me if not!

@iloveburmese3 Aw thank you!
I think the lack of sleep doesn't help any of us at this point. We will end up sleeping better when the baby comes lol.

I'm almost 33 weeks and struggling now. Not sleeping great and uncomfortable. Pulled my maternity forward so I finished last week and that's been a blessing.

Wanting to enjoy the time I have left but also wanting him here now.

Struggling with aches and pains, no easy ride this pregnancy stuff!

34 weeks with an 18 month old. Today has been awful to where I genuinely googled if you can die from indigestion. I’m also exhausted, need to wee ever 20 minutes or so and baby kicks are actually painful. The only comfortable position is to lie on my side with a pillow between my knees. My toddler is obviously unimpressed with this level of shoddy parenting and so has been throwing some impressive tantrums to keep me on my toes. Very, very ready for this baby to be here now.

Same here. Feels absolutely rubbish... and worst when i complain to my husband, he just simply take the blanket and go to kids room, with the explaination, "so i can roll more on the bed". Rubbish excuse and im so done with this man. EverytimE i complain my body ache, he will take the blanket and join my kids. If i ask for a massage, he will say he needs to work tomorrow. If i need such attention, he needs to redign from working. Can someone pick him up and throw him into the bin for me plz

I am 32 weeks and starting to struggle with aches, pains and tiredness. My midwife suggested I try Floradix which is an iron and vitamin supplement, really hoping it helps perks me up a bit. Not due to start maternity leave until 38 weeks so hoping for a miracle!

Meee! 32 weeks pregnant with twins, they have a combined weight of over 9 pounds. I still have 3 weeks left at work and lm knackered. Grossed out by how much Peptac lm guzzling and sick of the constant weeing

Husband moaned about my snoring this morning. I’m very unrepentant-l wish that’s all l had to cope with!

You're my hero. I don't know how you're doing it with twins. X

I needed to read this! Sorry you’re all going through the same but I’m feeling utterly done with pregnancy too so it’s good to know it’s not just me being pathetic. 34 weeks tomorrow and completely exhausted. I have a ridiculously energetic 2yr old and I’m trying so hard to enjoy my last weeks with just him before the baby arrives but it’s a struggle. Hoping to finish work next week and plan to sleep for a month!

Mimmi22 · 04/03/2023 22:46

I feel you! 34 weeks with a 2 year old and really running out of energy to do anything with him. Baby feels like they are constantly pushed up against my ribs and NO position is comfy anymore. I also had either food poisoning or a vomiting bug this week which really didn’t help with the tiredness/coping levels.

I also look completely rough, but not long to go now. You will look better again in time.

iloveburmese3 · 05/03/2023 12:00

Thanks everyone! I feel there is definitely a pattern with us if we have a toddler also to look after... it's hardcore. Hoping you all are having a good today today and sending strength and courage for the final weeks. Quite a great time also to be having babies as we will be able to start feeling ourselves over the summer (ello ello rosé) and then marvelous by Christmas. We've got this!
