Placenta confusion

Hi. I’m currently 17 weeks pregnant with baby no3. Was told during my 12 week nhs scan that my placenta was low anterior which is a first as my previous 2 were both posterior. I understood that this meant I might not feel baby move as early which I was completely fine with.
However, I had a private gender scan at 16+5 and was then told that my placenta was posterior.
So I am a little confused as to which scan report is correct. I knew that the placenta could move upwards as uterus grew but can it move from front to back?
Is this something I should raise with my midwife?
thanks in advance for any replies.

I had a private scan and they got the placenta placement wrong so I would be inclined to trust the NHS one over the private one especially as with the private scans you aren't 100% sure of the qualifications. They will do a placenta check at 20 week scan which will hopefully confirm for you.
