Hi everyone
Currently pregnant with baby number 2 (one son, last pregnancy was early m/c) and I’m experiencing a LOT of pressure I guess in my vagina? Mostly when lay down.
Has anyone had this this early in pregnancy? Worth a call to EPU? I’ve gone down a google rabbit hole and now worried about incompetent cervix.
thanks x

@Mamaseekingrainbow I would mention the short cervix concern to your midwife. I'd had some prior surgery at it was mentioned that it may be short then. I was scanned at 16 weeks (which is when the do the scans for this) fortunately, my cervix is a cm longer than deemed too short. Hopefully it'll be the same for you too.
As a side note, I too feel pressure low down. I think I currently have a low lying anterior placenta so I'm guessing this could be the cause for me.

I was feeling a lot of pressure, now at 14 weeks it’s lessened but I do feel discomfort low down still, almost period like.

@LBF2020 thanks for your response - I will definitely mention it to her. I have no reason to be concerned other than the pressure, I think I had it when I was pregnant with my son too but can’t really remember.
