I am 35w +4 and just got myself some raspberry leaf tea capsules. There isn't a lot of guidance as to how to take them. I took one this morning, how many should I start by taking? Do I then take progressively more as I get to 40w?

I tried raspberry leaf tea and made no difference at all!! Apparently it can just irritate your womb anyway and just make you feel crappy! Does it not tell you on bottle how much to take, it can be dangerous if too much is taken.

Quite a few people on my antenatal thread used them in previous pregnancies, try searching old messages in antenatal threads for 'raspberry leaf' it'll be an april 2008 one. (I think it was the food porn thread or scorpios getting married)

You aren't supposed to start them till 37 weeks doup76. But since you asked it depend entirely on the dosage of the pills which varies wildly. Mine it was six a day but they did bugger all except give me braxton hicks I'm afraid. The tea was quite nice though (surprisingly so, I thought it'd be horrid).
