When did you conceive after a miscarriage

I had an MC and in March 2022 and we took x2 months off really trying and started again on the 3rd month and conceived again in November 2022, so maybe about 5 months of trying afterwards. I know people who conceived the very next month so it's different for everyone. So sorry for your MC, it's not easy 😢

I got pregnant again the following cycle but it was another early miscarriage. I then got pregnant again the cycle after that and am 14+3 weeks now

Yes I miscarried on 30 February and I have just stated my period which is quite painful and heavy not sure if anyone else had this. I just wondered if it is harder to conceive after miscarriage

@Hollytrees1 my first period post mc was the heaviest I’ve ever had! I think it’s normal xx

I am finding it very hard especially as Many people say they don't even have a period and get pregnant straight away. I have just got my first period and it's made it even more difficult.

Sorry to hear you're going through this. You are apparently more fertile right after a MC. We were trying for 8 months before I got pregnant, had a MMC and conceived again just three weeks later! Now 25 weeks along.
All I would say is to give yourself time, if you need it, to mourn the loss. My first trimester was so full of anxiety and I think it was partly because I had barely processed what had happened. Sending you all the best x

Yes I think I got my hopes up as I thought it may happen to me that I would conceive quickly but it didn't sadly and my period came which made it a bit more difficult. I no there's time but I think because you get your hopes up and then I got disappointed. So happy for you tho congratulations I hope everything goes well xx

@Hollytrees1 it lasted longer too so basically it was just crap, not pregnant, heavy bleeding and pain🤦🏻‍♀️ I expected to get pregnant again straight away as it seemed to happen to everyone else but took me 3 cycles after my first period post loss xx
