Bleeding in Pregnancy, 7 weeks

Hi, I’m currently 7w+4 (going by dates) or 6w+4 going by scan. I’ve had zero symptoms for the last 2/2.5 weeks.

On Sat I started to get some brown discharge and since then it has varied between a little brown, some red blood and back to brown. I assumed that I was having a miscarriage, but it hasn’t progressed further. i went to the EPU today and they saw the heartbeat and says everything looks ok. But I’m still bleeding which they can’t explain.

did anyone have bleeding that went in to a successful pregnancy? The combination of no symptoms and bleeding isn’t making me confident, even after a successful scan.

oh and one more thing, I’ve been using Clearblue tests with weeks indicators (wish I hadn’t started) and have been unable to get a 3+ result. It still says 2-3

Hi, I'm going through the same just now. 7w6d today. Had brown/pink when I wipe. I also used the clearblue with weeks last week but only got 2-3 weeks. I had a look and found that the hormone levels differ greatly in the early weeks but as long as they are going up its OK. I have an appointment with EPU for a scan on Thursday morning. Had a miscarriage last year but it was missed so had no symptoms and didn't find out until I was scanned at 11 weeks. It's such a worry. I had a big bleed when I was pregnant with my son who's now 7 but it was bright red blood and lots of it. Do you have another scan booked? I'm dreading mine on Thursday as my symptoms seem to have gone away too.

@Rainbowbabyplease I’m so sorry I’ve just seen your reply. I really hope that you had good news at your scan. Unfortunately I started to miscarry that night and have since had a scan to confirm. I think for my the weeks indicator seems to be fairly reliable, as the same happened in my first pregnancy which I also miscarried. I had 3+weeks much earlier when pregnant with my little one. However I’ve seen lots of posts where women have never had a 3+ but have had successful pregnancies. Really hope you’ve had a better outcome x

@MrsMcnulty20 I'm so so sorry to hear that you have miscarried 😭 I hope you're as ok as you can be. I had my scan on Thursday and everything was good heartbeat baby and sac but baby measuring a week behind. They don't seem concerned but I am. Bleeding and pain has stopped and I'm trying to take it easy. Was meant to be 7+5 on Thursday but baby measuring 6+6. Were you measuring behind when they scanned you the first time? I have a private scan booked for a week on Monday but I've to go back to EPU if any more bleeding due to having a missed miscarriage last September xxx
