also I can’t remember who was on the conversation about suspected large babies but mine was only 8lbs 14 after worries he might have been 10lbs! So hopefully that reassures

I never nap and now in week 40 just feel knackered after doing anything

Yes @havananana definitely feeling more tired all of a sudden. I’ve still been on the treadmill daily but it’s getting shorter and slower every day, I’m sure 😖

@Thirdtimesacharm3 congratulations! Sorry you couldn't have your homebirth, that must have been really disappointing. How was the water birth though? An okay substitute? Hope little man is feeling better soon and you're home asap ❤️

Thanks @TeddyBeans . Waterbirth was good but ended up with retained placenta afterwards which needed removal in theatre so was probably for the best we weren’t at home in the end!

@Perexi fair enough! I wouldn't risk it either in those circumstances. Nice to have a date though! I felt so much better once the induction was booked in. A definite end date is always something to look forward to.

I'm all good thank you 🥰 small second degree tear, same as last time, but that's not giving me any bother at all. My milk has come in literally in the last hour or so so my boobs are now rock solid. Little miss is just a dream though. It does make the less fun bits about post partum life much more manageable when you have a gorgeous little bean to stare at ❤️

Thanks @muminlndn @Saltandpepperr I was looking at renting the medala pump they let me use when I was in hospital, health visitor came out this afternoon but baby would not wake up typical! My positioning is good so I'll just keep at it!

What does the midwife do when she comes on day 1,3,5?
Weighs the baby and checks the feeding? Or also examines the mum physically?

@Perexi same c-section date as me! So exciting having a date planned in 🥰

@Thirdtimesacharm3 oh no! Lucky you were at the hospital. How are you feeling after the removal? They can be pretty brutal from what I've seen on TV 🙈

36+4 today, pretty sure I lost my plug this morning. Do I need to do anything?

@dmb91 no need to do anything except pray the contractions start 😁

My midwife said it can grow back

@TeddyBeans I need baby to wait until after my hair appointment on the 8th 😂

I've seen it's meant to snow next week.....so I'm putting my money on that being when this baby wants to arrive 🤣

@dmb91 stay put til the 9th baby!! Although tbf I lost my plug after a sweep and it did absolutely nothing so it's one of those situations where everything or nothing might happen after

I've just witnessed my impatient 3 day old baby beat DP's chest because he wasn't fast enough getting the bottle into her mouth 🤣🤣 this kid is hilarious, I love her so much 🥰

My turn to sleep, hopefully DP will keep her til closer to 1 so I get a good stint tonight before my shift starts. Night ladies!

Does anyone else ever feel their baby shake/shudder in the womb? It only lasts maybe 3-5 seconds but has happened a few times now!

I had that happen 2x I think around weeks 36-37 I think
Told the midwife and as other movements were normal rolling/pressing ones, she was not bothered about it

@havananana yeah he seems to be moving away happily in there after!

strange I wonder what it is😂

@havananana day 1 was quick she checked were baby slept and asked some questions like do we smoke/drink ect. Day 5 was weigh in for baby, check my stitches and heel prick tests and then she will be back on day 10.

Baby girl born 20:59 on 3/3 😊
