Hello.

I found out on Wednesday I was pregnant, did a few tests to confirm, because it was a shock. Would be just over 4 weeks.

However, Saturday afternoon started with light bleeding, which unfortunately has turned heavier with some cramping. Has anyone else have heavy implantation bleeding before? I tested this morning and still coming up pregnant. However, I have been referred to my early pregnancy unit to be checked over.

Wondering if anyone is able to help or offer me any advice. I’m resigning myself to the fact I’m probably having a miscarriage, but if anyone can help or reassure me I would appreciate it.

This would be baby no. 6 but I have never experienced this before.

Thank-you! x

I found out I was pregnant a couple of weeks ago with a very faint line on FRER. That same day I started bleeding, and I bled for three days at a light period flow amount. It was bright red blood and filled about half a pad in a day.

It did stop and my tests continued to get darker to the point of a dye stealer. No bleeding since, and hopefully no more. I'm about 5+4 today and will be booking an early scan to have in about two weeks time.

I did phone the GP at the time and she said to monitor it, it could have been a 'heavy implantation bleed'. She said if I had heavy bleeding and/or severe pain to go to A&E.

It's so shit but you do just have to wait it out and see what happens. Wishing you luck x

Hi!

So the early pregnancy unit won’t see me until I’m at least 6 weeks. Have told me to test in 2 weeks and if it’s positive they will get me in for a scan, but if it’s negative no need to carry on.

Im just over 4 weeks, so 2 weeks is going to drag. Luckily my bleeding has slowed down, but was heavy yesterday and was soaking a pad in 4-5 hours. I’m trying to remain positive, but it’s hard x

@MrsKP2018 I’m so sorry you’ve got this worry. It could go either way but they can’t see enough on a scan until 6 weeks so unfortunately it’s a waiting game 😞. I hope everything is ok

@allgoodthings84 thanks for the message. It’s so hard not knowing exactly what’s going on. The way I’m feeling is just numb, trying to just carry on, but still having symptoms is confusing.

@MrsKP2018 I know with a mmc you can still have symptoms as your body doesn’t realise you’ve miscarried as no bleeding and nothing passed but a miscarriage with a bleed is different and usually symptoms go right away as far as I’m aware. I had no symptoms after my bleeding.

@allgoodthings84 its weird, I bled for one day, heavy and red, no clots. However, all
seems to have stopped now. I’m still feeling tired and bloated and having slight food cravings. Im mentally preparing myself that I have miscarried, so if I test in 2 weeks and it’s negative im prepared x
