Ovulation test confusion. Please help!

Been trying for a baby for almost a year and my cycle seems all over the place. I found my peak on CD8 then I’ve just taken this test on CD which is definitely positive too. What does this mean?? Thank you!

Hmmm that is confusing but I remember reading when I was TTC that about 40% cycles do have two LH surges, the second one is meant to be bigger than the first. This kind of fits your pattern as you have peaked and then its LH has dropped and now it seems to be rising again. I would DTD today and tomorrow and day after for good measure. Good luck!

You can sometimes get multiple high/peaks before the real thing. I have PCOS and this is a common occurrence for me.

Couple of things:

1 - are u sure you aren't pregnant? OPKs can show positive when you are pregnant and with it being high quite early on it might be worth checking. Although that brings me to my next point....

2 - do you know what CD you usually ovulate or is this your first month?

3 - do you temp? This was good for me to see which peak was the real thing and confirms ovulation.

4 - DTD just in case

These two tests are 4/5 days apart and it dropped in between, very strange! I have short cycles (around 21 days but last month bleed 14 days apart), have been testing but haven’t had any surges for about 3 months. I have ovulation/stomach pains like no other at the moment!
