Waiting for Baby...

I have decided to start a thread to express how tired I am of waiting for my 1st baby to finally arrive. I have 7 weeks to go, and it feels like forever until my due date on 1st April.
Was wondering if anyone has a time machine they can lend me so I can jump forward a few weeks.
Please don't tell me to enjoy it while I can.. I really just cant. Am so restless. So many BH contractions. So many trips to the loo for a pee. So many cute little baby clothes just waiting to be filled!

So if you either have a time machine to spare, or want to whinge about how long its taking to the big day... squeak to me!!

-This IS my exciting Saturday night-

Noooooo. You have nine weeks. Seven in which to hope the baby appears and then two to be increasingly desperate before finally he shows up!

I'm waiting for number 2 and honestly the longer the better as far as I'm concerned. If it's this hard with one, how much more work will two be!

ThePFJ · 09/02/2008 21:10

...you know what.
I moved your chocolate.

I have a secret - since I got pregnant, I've gone off it anyway

I have been feeling fed up recently too, but I have to say with no. 3 on the way, do try to enjoy the time you have now without baby around, go out and enjoy yourself, do things with your restlessness.

I am due on 7th April, although my first two came early, so mentally I am not prepared to get to April. I am getting BHx all the time too, does not help with my sister keep saying how huge I look, that I look bigger than many others she knows just before they gave birth....

So PFJ - if you find that time machine, wait for me to join you.

But also we should both be sensible like whomovedmychocolate said and think that we have longer so that when it happens beforehand we can be pleasantly surprised!!!!

If she's gone off chocolate I am moving something!! -laughs-

Buggerbugger bugger.
I truly have cleaned everything.
I have organised everything.
All my friends are busy.
Please dont make me call my mother.
Whats a girl to dooooo??

I may have to threaten to practice putting the nappies on the cat.

Ah well it's about time you starting having desperate sex to kick things off then.

Five days later, post a message here about clary sage/castor oil/curry spices and whether they work and then four days after that go to see the midwife and say in a very whingey voice 'but I've been pregnant for ever'

NB we all do all that. Tis very normal for the first one. Honestly once you are in full on labour you'll be really confused as to what the big hurry was!

Frizbe · 09/02/2008 22:24

Get a huge stack of books and enjoy reading them in peace and quiet, cause you won't be for the next two years, if ever!

ThePFJ · 09/02/2008 22:25

Me?? Confused???

-heads for the bathroom and ends up in the kitchen-

Never!!!!

LO is due 28 Feb.

Am getting bored now cos no longer driving (difficult to turn wheel with bump in the way), and moreover, have to rest cos borderline high BP. Have taken up tapestry but can only do 30 minutes in one go cos of sensitised nerves in elbows, which give me discomfort.

Thing is, cos i'm not doing a lot - i have more time to worry and get nervous. Thank goodness for the internet!
