For the past couple of days, I had light pink bleeding which then turned to brown and then completely stopped but when I went to the toilet this morning, this came out. I have quite sore lower back pain, like period pain, have scan on Tuesday but deep down I know its all over x

How many weeks are you? Contact out of hours midwife as soon as you can.

I had some bleeding at 10/11 weeks. On the phone, the midwife asked me questions regarding

  • How much bleeding I had - eg the risk is greater if it's a lot over a few days.
  • Pain in stomach
  • Changes in bowel movements eg. diarrhoea

Also, apparently if you had sickness/ breast tenderness, they'd go away very quickly after passing.

If it's bad news, I am so sorry. Please respond if you want someone to talk to xxx

Hi OP, how did your scan go?
I had bleeding very early on with my last baby, it was there for about a week and had cramps too and it all turned out ok, so it might not mean the worst! When I got a scan she was barely visible and then at the next scan she was measuring small. I was so worried for weeks but she caught up quickly and ended up being an almost 9lb bruiser! I hope you got the news you wanted ❤️
