Pregnancy test more faint the day after a stronger positive

Hi all,

Last month I experienced my first chemical miscarriage. One week after that I conceived. I have been filled with worry and anxiety which I know isn't healthy and have been testing a hell of a lot. I tested again this morning and although positive, the lines were a lot more faint. I haven't really seen massive progression in lines, only slightly. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this? Whether it's positive or negative. I feel I need to prepare myself for the worst incase it happens again.

First two tests taken yesterday, third test taken first thing this morning.

@Patpop hi OP, there's no picture of the tests attached to your post but when I had my chemical last year I tested daily & saw the tests gradually getting fainter. I really hope this isn't the case for you, TTC can be so difficult!

@timetosave thank you so much. I am going to test in the evening and try SMU tomorrow to see if there are any changes. This would be my second in a row :-(. If you don't mind me asking, how soon after did you miscarry and see other symptoms? X

@Patpop I'm so sorry, it's really tough. If I hadn't been testing every day I would have had no idea it was coming really, I started bleeding a week after my missed period but I didn't really feel any symptoms at all apart from slight cramping the day the bleeding started, so I'm glad I was testing daily to prepare me for what was coming. This is what my tests looked like, and I took another after the bottom one that was almost completely negative. Hoping things are different for youx

Thanks for messaging. Unfortunately looks like another chemical MC. Started with light bleeding and cramping today. Wondering if this will ever happen successfully after two consecutive ones x

@Patpop I'm so sorry, TTC can feel like such a long journey, hold faith that it'll happen for you. 2 CPs isn't uncommon I've seen on here, not that it makes it any easier when you're currently living it though. Hopefully you get your successful BFP soon🤞🏼x
