So I’m 19w pregnant and I had to go into the pregnancy unit last week as I was bleeding for the second time in this pregnancy, I had my cervix checked, they couldn’t see any cause for the bleeding, they took a swab and checked babies heartbeat and then sent me home… I got a letter in the post to say that I’ve tested positive for group b strep and I’d be having antibiotics once I go into labour.. I’ve been reading up online and I have terrified myself.
how do you get this? I’ve been negative for my previous two pregnancies, I was tested both times once I went in to be induced?
is anyone else going through this or has anyone been through this? 🫶🏻🥺
