43 and pregnant bashed by close cousin

I have a 21 yr old daughter with her 3 yr old son (my GS) and another 19 yr old daughter. I am 43 and found out I am 2 months pregnant. We were trying but stopped and surprise! Anyways....what got my feelings hurt was my closest cousin that we uses to be best buddies , hanging out ect. before I got married, she told me about how old I was and that I'm becoming a Mexican (hubby Mexican) for having so many babies. I have only two with my ex-husband...But she has three from different dads which I never mention ever. But what she said really put me in sadness. Like how can she even say such a thing. She didn't even say Congrats or anything.

Well, that's super rude.
Also, she's got three kids herself but is trying to shame you for being pregnant with #3? 🤷 double standards.

Just ignore her, maybe she is jealous. Who knows maybe she tried to get pregnant with 4th and it didn't happen. Actually getting pregnant in 40s is not that easy as you experienced yourself. I'm 42 and have 2 daughters age 11 and 13, also gave up trying and it suddenly happened. I don't care what people think but not looking forward to tell, family can be particularly judgemental.

I now know that close family can be worse than a friend. But now I just ignore her and be happy with myself and my pregnancy. 😊

That' what I said too. Like what's the issue here?? But what can we do people can be rude. But sometimes it does get to me just to think about it.
