Second pregnancy bleeding?

Has anyone experienced a week of bleeding that consisted of spotting, heaving flow and clots during their second (early) pregnancy? I am wondering if the worst has happened or this is common after having a natural birth previously.

Hi both, hope everyone worked/has worked out OK for you. In this scenario, do call your midwife if you have one, or local EPU (via your GP if necessary)

@Whataretheodds Thank you! I had already gone to the hospital for a check up but had another 10 day wait for a follow up appointment which was mentally so draining, therefore wanted to see if I could get some clarity in the meantime.

Hey @Defea I am so sorry you were/are also experiencing the same symptoms. Besides the physical drain, it is also mentally destroying and I do not wish it on anyone. Pregnancy should be a magical experience.

Unfortunately for me personally, I was experiencing a miscarriage however that is not to say you are too, everyone is different! Along with all the above, I was also passing big chunks of my uterine lining and had cramps like never before which was the a big teller.

how are you feeling now? - have your symptoms calmed down & have the hospital managed to get you an appointment ASAP for a check up?🤞🏾

The waiting is so tough. Unfortunately I don't think there's any way you can tell.

On here I have read of many women who've had plenty of bleeding including clots but have gone on to have healthy babies. Equally, women who've had the same ending as you and me.

I hope you get the outcome you're hoping for ultimately.

Ofc - i know I was not able to find any solidified answers until that second hospital appointment check, but it still helped hearing other people’s experiences and outcomes, which im sure other pregnant women can relate to when going through similar alarming symptoms. I guess that’s the point of these type of Forums.

Unfortunately, i was experiencing a miscarriage back in February.
