Cyclizine not working for nausea

I’m 6+6 and I was prescribed cyclizine on Friday to help with constant intense nausea but it is not even taking the edge off. This morning, in complete desperation, I took some ondansetron that my mum had left over and it worked instantly and I feel brand new.

Did anyone else have this issue with cyclizine? And did your GP offer an alternative?

Yes, Cyclazine just made me dizzy when I was already dizzy from dehydration. I went through about four medications before being given Ordansetron which really made a difference for me.

I need both of them, one doesn't work without the other. I'm sorry you're struggling 😔

I'm 11 weeks and I've barely left bed this last 2 months because of the sickness and nausea.
I'm praying/wishing/everythinging that the nausea and sickness calm down soon because I'm going a bit crazy.

Cyclizine made me feel much worse. I was then prescribed stemetil which did nothing. In the end I didnt take anything and just waited for the sickness to pass (about 20 weeks). I've read somewhere that B6 tablets should help? Haven't tried it myself but I got my BFP yesterday so I'll try it this time round if I get sickness again
