6.3 weeks but measuring small

I had a scan yesterday at what should be 6.3 weeks (was ovulation tracking so fairly sure of dates). Had the scan as I had 2 very heavy gushing bleeds in the week. I was told there was a heartbeat but it was only measuring 5.5 weeks. I've been advised to scan again in 2 weeks. The bleeding was caused by a subchorionic hematoma and apparently that isn't finished yet so I should expect more bleeding.
Has anyone had similar and gone on th have a successful pregnancy? I'm trying to keep positive but I'm worried about the measuring small.

I had an early scan at 6+4 and the baby was measuring 5+6 with a heartbeat; they were 3 days smaller at the subsequent scan at 9+4, but at my 12 week they had caught up exactly with my dates! I think at the beginning everything is so small that it's hard for them to measure, and I think sometimes they just start off a bit smaller. Hope that's reassuring! They were also on the 1st percentile for size at first but are now at 40
