Hi all, I’m really hoping some of you will be able to reassure me or share your stories. I’m 6 weeks 3 days, I had diarrhoea yesterday morning but as it didn’t continue I wasn’t worried. Today around midday I saw I had pinky/bloody discharge when I wiped it took a couple cleans. I don’t know if I can call this spotting, but it wasn’t bright red and there wasn’t lots. No clumps. Since then I’ve just been having brown/dark discharge when I wipe. Went to hospital A&E as panicked and crying after an hour waiting was sent to another hospital as they do scans on Saturdays just to be told they’re full and won’t be able to scan me. I’m hopefully going to be scanned tomorrow but am absolutely desperate to hear some stories of what could possibly be going on and is there a chance this could all be ok? Just to mention I also have quite a few and a couple of big fibroids. Thank you so much 😢

Oh bless you. I really hope your scan goes well tomorrow.

I had the same - couple of weeks later than you. Was a haematoma (small collection of blood). They said it was harmless, it bled itself out over a week or two and disappeared.

Hello! @Lemonssweet I had some bleeding at 7 weeks 5 days... I like you was very worried! Turns out I had a sub chronic hematoma, scan at 8 weeks 3 days confirmed happy healthy baby nothing to worry about. They are very common supposedly. Mines has now dissolved itself

Try to not stress 🄰 x

I had constant brown spotting from 4-7 weeks and so far so good! (I’m now 10+4). Occasionally get slightly yellowish brown in the tissue and still upsets me every time but I’ve had scans with strong heartbeat whilst this has been happening so just telling myself it’s fine!

Thank you so much for your responses. The hospital wouldn’t scan me today as it’s less than a week since the private scan I had on Monday (before the bleeding started). Even though I’ve had bleeding and cramps and been from pillar to post with hospitals last two days with no scan to show me everything’s ok, they still wouldn’t do one because protocol is they have to wait 7 days…. Feel like I’m in a nightmare as now have to wait till Tuesday.
As now I’m over 6 weeks I would have been able to hear a heartbeat for the first time if everything ok, it’s just torture making me wait again when there’s no reason to šŸ˜”. Feel so deflated and in mental agony.

Hi @Lemonssweet I had this aswell at 4-7 weeks mine was heavy, I couldn't be scanned and was told to do a test in 3 weeks to see the outcome! It was the hardest wait ever, mine was positive and at my 12 week scan I found out I was 16weeks they couldn't find any bleeding on the scan, I'm now 22 weeks and have had spotting throughout this pregnancy it's really hard to tell myself it's ok because to me any blood is a bad thing but I have been reassured it's ok and now I feel baby move about it's alot easier.
I have everything crossed for you as it doesn't always mean the end ā¤ļø
