Really got on well with my bellababy double electric pump, was recommended by a lactation consultant and was really good value and has lasted over a year of pumping

Hi @itsme432 thanks for posting! If you're still looking for recommendations, we've put some a whole host of breast pumps through their paces and reviewed them in our best breast pumps article. If you have any thoughts or feedback on the article, let us know🙂

I have the fraupow (best handsfree in the Mumsnet article) and I really like it. Easy to use and clean plus good battery life.

Depends how much and how often you intend to express though. I actually hired a hospital grade double pump from Medela the first couple of months when DS was small, struggling to latch and feeding constantly because it allowed me to express enough milk to top up and for DH to do a night feed. Once he was more established with feeding, my need for the pump dropped significantly so switched to a wearable. Now I just use it now and again to prepare a bottle or two if I need to leave DS for a couple of hours and it works great.

I also see now that this post is old so you've no doubt purchased a pump by now.
