No yolk sac at 5+5 spotting for 2 weeks

Hi guys, this has probably been answered somewhere but my brains boggled.
I got my positive on 05/02/23 and flo put me at 4 weeks exactly. I started VERY pale pink spotting on the 6th and that’s been going on and off ever since. I have been having my HCG monitored due to 2x previous losses and they’ve been rising as expected. I was referred to EPU today for an early scan to check everything over and they’ve told me my gestational sac is smaller than expected and there was no sign of a yolk sac. My hcg is still doubling but I know this is hinting towards an anembryonic pregnancy. I’m pretty sure my dates can’t be out as I’m a serial tracker. Just wondering if there’s any hopeful stories out there to keep me going until my rescan on Friday….I was holding on to the fact I was increasingly symptomatic but that’s not helping anymore ☹️
I know it’s not a definite loss but I’m feeling really really sad 😔

Not sure it helps but my last pregnancy was an anembryonic pregnancy and my hcg levels were low to start with constant suboptimal rises not doubling as expected. So I really hope the fact your levels are going up well, you get some good news at the next scan!
