Hi all,

I'm currently 7 weeks pregnant today.

I have been for two early reassurance scans now, both happy and healthy.. heart beat of 120 or so.

I'm just struggling with no symptoms of pregnancy.. I feel nothing !!

I've been pregnant before 3/4 times, one ended in a miscarriage about 6 years ago (missed miscarriage).

I'm just driving myself crazy, I'm in tears and I'm just on Google 24/7?!

In all previous pregnancies I've been sick as a dog, but in this pregnancy I have nothing?

I keep thinking my HCG is low.

But if heartbeat had been seen twice now and is growing as should be.. can I stop worrying? I've read the change of miscarriage after heartbeat is about 10% ? SadSadSadSadSadSadSadSad

I have 2 children and had absolutely no sickness with either of them. I didn’t even feel pregnant until I had a bump, which didn’t come until 20+ weeks. I’m now pregnant with my third and again, no sickness. I’ve been really tired and had sore boobs, which has now turned to slightly tender nipples. I had my 12 week scan yesterday and everything is as it should be. Try not to worry, not everyone gets sickness and just because you had sickness in other pregnancies, it doesn’t mean you’ll get it this time xx

@shan19892 sorry for your previous loss, I totally understand how hard this must now make it. i had a scan at 7+3 with heartbeat and was told the risk of miscarriage went down to 2-5%. Of all the factors you’re considering (eg no symptoms etc), the heartbeat is definitely the most important one so it’s really good news! Other than sore boobs I didn’t really get symptoms until 8 weeks and did lots of searching on mumsnets and it seems like this is not that
uncommon. And definitely saw lots of posters saying they had symptoms with some pregnancies and not with others. Also saw a good few posts of women saying when they had MMC symptoms were awful so in summary , there doesn’t seem to be any correlation with symptoms and whether the pregnancy is successful or not

i know it’s a financial consideration but if you’re able to and it would help, you could get a scan every week or every other week? I’ve actually done three in the last three weeks which I know is kind of crazy but I’ve decided that anything to put me at ease is priceless!

Thanks ever so much for your replies! Halo

Its reassuring knowing that you have both been in similar situations, it's just so weird.. I guess you just assume all pregnancies will be the same but they aren't.

I have booked another scan for 8 weeks, as I know that miscarriage rates do decline a lot after that week. 🤞🏼 but my partner isn't happy about spending money all the time on scams (understandably) as we are also trying to save extra for this baby.

I spoke with my early pregnancy team about my worries and they did keep reassuring me that seeing the heartbeat at 6/7 weeks will drop my chance of miscarriage to 10%, i think I just need to start enjoying what I have. Sad

Xx
