I'm about 7 1/2 weeks atm. I'm probably being sick 2/3 times a day atm and that's because I'm hardly eating and not allowing my partner to cook. I had a really good day yesterday and managed half a pizza! Today I've eaten a bowl of apple purree and a biscuit (I threw the biscuit up). Really struggling to stay hydrated.

I've been on half term this week and barely left bed as I'm so tired.... Getting really worried about returning to work next week! Beginning to think I should try and contact my GP but know they won't offer me an appointment for 3 weeks... Just don't know what to do!

I had an awful time with sickness around the same weeks as you, I found I had to eat something as soon as I woke up and then something small every 1.5-2 hours otherwise I'd be sick more. As hard as it is eating small and often helps more. I also found salt and vinegar crisps for some reason helped me.

Hi!
I started off like this and eventually was diagnosed with HG
It fizzled off around 17 weeks
If you feel you cant keep anything down for days then you'll need to go into hospital and you may need drips via IV
Try getting some antisickness from your gp too

@leanneb94 @Enn1234
Thanks for your replies. Really hoping it stops at 12/13 weeks - sounds horrendous it last until 17 weeks!

Might try calling my GP on Monday.

It'll get better and time will fly by!

@braxxen I'll be honest, in my experience it didn't stop at 12/13 weeks. I'm 19 weeks now and still feel slightly nauseous most days, even more so if I leave it too long between eating but it's much more manageable than in the first trimester. At the moment I've only actually been sick once every 2-3 weeks now but think it's mainly something I've done, for example take a bath a bit too warm and threw up when I came out
