For background I am high risk for pre eclampsia due to previous pregnancy.

  • Headaches from about 28 weeks with some eye floaters
  • Blood pressure raising ( normally naturally very low about 80/50) so despite the fact its going up it isnt dangerously high
  • Protein in urine at last couple of appointments

Had an antenatal check up this morn and protein in urine again. However i am seeing consultant tomorrow after my growth scan so she said they can assess then.

So this afternoon I have just been to get my lashes done- she sits me up as much as she can so Im not led flat. I led there and after a couple of minutes felt a sudden hot flush all over me, my whole body felt clammy and over whelmed and started to shake. I knew if I stood up Id have fainted. She stopped and sat me up and i opened my eyes and could see pretty much nothing. All i could see was blur, she got me some water and i came round after probably a minute and I have felt ok since with normal movements. I cant even work out what happened- would people say this is pre eclampsia related? Im not sure wether to go to triage but I am booked in with my consultant tomorrow anyway?

Call your midwife, I haven't had pre eclampsia but I do know you don't mess about with it and things can escalate quickly - best to let them know asap.
