Hi everyone, I need some advice and other peoples experiences please!

I have written on here a few days ago but have more updates now.

Last Friday I started bleeding and it then got heavier and I started to pass small clots which eventually turned into bigger ones. I am still bleeding now just not as heavy. Most of the blood has been bright red.

I have my second EPU scan tomorrow as last week they could only see fetal pole and sac, no heartbeat had developed yet.

I have been doing pregnancy tests and they seem to be quite strong, would my levels have dropped by now?

Also, I still have extremely sore boobs and my gums are bleeding (had both of these symptoms with my first child).

I'm just very confused at the moment

I'm so sorry you're going through this. Unfortunately, HCG can remain high for quite a while after miscarrying, leading to positive tests and ongoing symptoms. I tested positive for 3 weeks after a scan showing an almost complete miscarriage. However, you can have bleeding without miscarrying so it's all rather confusing. Take care.

Whyyyyy am I getting preg symptoms though! The gum bleeding only started two days ago and is getting worse by the day. Boobs so painful, I'm eating like a horse and still putting on weight everyday

because you still have HCG. it's a bitch. I had more morning sickness after my miscarriage was confirmed than before. (and by confirmed, the scan showed an empty womb with only a slightly thickened lining to show i had been pregnant)

hi @babymummy96, I hope everything goes well to you as I have been experiencing the same situation. I am very anxious now especially seeing red blood and clots.
