Any early scan experts out there?
I went for a scan at 7+1 for reassurance as I had horrific sickness (couldn’t keep water down) which disappeared overnight and sent my anxiety in a spiral. It was a private scanning place.
the sonographer acted a bit weirdly, and was purposefully staying away from one side of my stomach as soon as the circled dark shape cropped up.
Is this just some random bit of my anatomy? Or could this have been a second sack that didn’t make it? It was a bit wider and longer than shown but this is the only photo I have that captured it.
It’s since been confirmed one healthy baby growing nicely at 12 week scan but my husband and I are forever wondering about what this was (especially given the sonographer’s odd behaviour!).
Don’t mind what it is either way just very curious!!
