With my 2 previous pregnancies I had HG. It started at 5.5/6 weeks and I was extremely Ill.

Last week I felt very nauseous (at what I now know was probably 7/8 dpo . Got a positive test at 10dpo and I have been severely nauseous and vomiting since 13dpo. This feels far too early ? Could something be wrong or am I just unlucky ?

My GP said if you have HG in a pregnancy then it’s very likely any subsequent pregnancies will also cause sickness. I’ve always had sickness starting as early as week 5 and it’s been the same with all my pregnancies unfortunately. I hope you feel better soon, get onto your GP and get medicine as soon as possible, try a few until you find the one that provides you with relief x

It must be as I’ve had it before , I was expecting it but thought I had a bit longer this is horrendously early.

Im going to see if I can get some medication to help as it’s unbearable already

I sympathise with you, when I read that some ladies get through their whole pregnancy without vomiting or nausea I feel so jealous, like why couldn’t that be me. I don’t know what’s worse, the actual vomiting or the lingering nausea. It takes it toll mentally as well doesn’t it. Yeah please get some meds. I was on cyclizine but it didn’t work for me but everyone is different, some people react well to meds x

Could it be twins? I know a lot of women have stronger symptoms much earlier with twins as the hcg rises faster

We do have twins in the family (but grandparents so not sure if that actually means we are more likely to!)
