Hi,

I have just had my first scan and sonographer found a subchorionic hematoma measuring 1.4cm .

The only advice they gave was to contact GP if l had any bleeding. So far, l have not have any and l'm 8 weeks 3 days.

But now l'm worried sick that things will go horribly wrong.

Anyone been though this? Any advice

I had a SH too and had loads of bleeding, including cramping and filling pads. it was very worrying at the time. But by the time my 12 week scan came round it had nearly gone and the rest has now been absorbed. Yours is quite small so try not to worry too much. I know it's easier said than done. On the plus side, if you do have a bleed, you know the likely cause and can be reassured with a scan. Hope it all goes well for you x

Hey :) congrats on your pregnancy!

I had one too and had episodes of brown blood, by the next scan it had been absorbed by my body & I'm currently 31 weeks 😘 they're not really anything to worry about especially when this small xx

@BritishDesiGirl I had one larger than yours and no bleeding ever happened on the end... I'm 39 weeks. SH are more / less dangerous depending on the location of it too so see if that is noted down on your notes.
