long story short I have been wanting my Mirena coil out for a while due to irregular bleeding and cramps and I unexpectedly got it taken out on Friday when I went to the doctor. It was due to expire in May this year anyway.
however, I realised after that because I was not expecting to get it taken out on Friday, I had had unprotected sex with my partner both 5 days and 3 days prior to this. I know that normally they would advise you to not engage in intercourse for 7 days leading up to removal.
also, according to my Flo app, I was ovulating on both days and my actual day of ovulation being Friday itself. However, I know that this isn’t always accurate when you have the Mirena coil in however this does match up based on when my last period was.
therefore, is it now possible that I could be pregnant? Will I need to test in a couple of weeks?
