Hi,

I am 34 and my husband is 40. We are TTC. Just.wondering how long did it take others in a similar age bracket? I have read once a woman is under 35 the age of the male is not relevant timewise. We are both healthy, fit and active.

Also did ye have a healthy baby who has no problems?

Look forward to hearing from ye.

Thanks.

I'm in the my early 30s and my partner is mid 40s. We conceived after 4 months but that was a CP. After a small break it then took us 2 months to conceive again. I'm 39 weeks today and so far I've been really fortunate to have a smooth pregnancy. Best of luck!

I’m 38 and my partner is 42 - we conceived the first time we tried! We’re very lucky, I know. But there are loads of people much older than you that have become parents.

Hello! We started when I was 34 and he was 38, took us 8 months and unfortunately had a MMC at 12 weeks. Tried again straight away and it took us another 9 months and I'm now 25 weeks, and also now 35 and he's 39! I have PCOS and a Thyroid problem as context as well...

If you are fit, healthy and active then you're in a great place, I would try not to worry and remember for a healthy couple it can take up to 12 months. Best of luck x

I have a 2 year old, got pregnant within 2 months. I was 34, just turning 35. Had a Mmc in December at 38, now pregnant again (super early days) again at 38. Both pregnancies at 38 happened in the first month.

Also have an under active thyroid but it's medicated.

I was 35 and my husband was 49 and it took us 7 months first time around. Our son is 2.5 now and no issues so far (despite me having mild ASD and his Dad having ADHD!). We conceived again first month trying but it ended in miscarriage at 11 weeks, and then took another 5 months to conceive again (I'm 37 and husband is 52). I'm due baby number 2 in June. We both took Proceive pre conception vitamins.

I'm 36 and my DH is 39. This is our second baby and each time we conceived during the first cycle. I had my DS when I was 33.
Good luck xx

We started TTC when my husband was 37 and I was 33 (I’m now 34). We fell first time, unfortunately had a mmc and fell again before I got a period after the miscarriage. Currently 37+1 and going ok so far 🤞🏼good luck OP x

I had my first baby at 34. No issues. Pregnant again at 42 now. Fitness has a smal bearing on fertility but not huge, so i wouldn't hang everything on how healthy and fit you are. Otherwise heroin addicts wouldn't get pregnant! I would imagine your chances are good at your age though, so you may as well stay positive.
