5 weeks - daily cramping/brown discharge

Hi all.
I recently found out I am pregnant - somewhere between 5-6 weeks.
For about a week and half now I’ve had pretty much daily brown discharge when I go to the loo, sometimes in my underwear too, and this past week I’ve had mild period type cramping too on a daily basis (nothing major but definitely there). I’ve had one single instance of some pink blood after going to the loo at one point (tmi but there was a bit of straining involved there) but nothing like that since - just brown old blood.

I’ve taken a couple more tests these last few days and the line is still there and a little darker - and I’ve had other symptoms as well which is suggesting somethings still going on in there.

I’ve seen my GP already and she’s referred me to EPU so I’m going next week but I’m just wondering if anyone’s experienced the same? I could do with some positivity where possible but it’s just hard not knowing when all google tells you is that if you’ve got cramping and bleeding combined it’s likely not a good sign!

Hi! I had this a couple of weeks ago at 5-6 weeks, brown discharge on wiping once a day and then in my underwear once too paired with cramping and discomfort in my tummy. Got an early scan and all was well! The cramping subsided a lot too after the scan as I think a lot of it came down to anxiety making it worse x

I know what’s normal for one may not be for another but I just needed to hear something that wasn’t worst case scenario!
