Bleeding for 6 hours 7 weeks +6

Hi all, I started bleeding this morning which was quite pinkish I'd say and it's been around 6 hours that I've been bleeding for now and it has turned to bright red blood.

I have very very slight cramping.

I'm booked in at the EPU later today but the wait is killing me, I'm so anxious and seeing the blood change colour is frightening me

Has anyone experienced this? Thanks

So sorry you’re going through this. Unfortunately when I had similar it was the start of an early miscarriage. Hopefully you’ll have better news.

I am six weeks and have started bleeding as well. It started a few days ago with the tiniest bit of brown blood. But then a day later it was a bit more, and the next day I woke up and it was like I was on my period and it's been like like that since. I took a pregnancy test yesterday and it's still positive, but the blood is now red and fresh so I'm assuming a miscarriage 😭.

I will have a scan on Monday to confirm.

My focus now is on being healthy and trying again as soon as possible. I will ask at my scan when to start with OPKs again as I really want to get back to being pregnancy again as a soon as physically possible.

I'm confused as i went for a private scan last week who gave me dates (baby hadn't developed into a fetus yet so was just a yolk sac) he said I was 6 weeks 1 day last Tuesday.

I've come in today and she's telling me I'm 5 weeks 1 day and all she can see is the yolk sac and fetal pole so she can't tell me whether baby is ok??

She basically said either my body is trying to get rid of the pregnancy or my dates are wrong.

I'm so confused and anxious. Have a rescan next Friday
