Skin fungal infection

I had a skin fungal infection all over my breast under my arms and in between my thighs before getting pregnant im 14 weeks atm and my skin has got so bad i constantly itch especially in my sleep and my skin is full of red patches which im finding hard to leave the house due to the appearance of these! Been to the GP multiple times and they just prescribe me anti fungal creams and steroid creams which only thing your skin i cant take oral medication due to being pregnant my skin is constantly on fire is there anyone that has experienced anything like this with some advice on how to manage this maybe

Hi, no advice sorry: just following as my son has a fungal skin infection that is turning out to be really tricky to shift and now it’s spread to me too :(
have you asked to be referred to a dermatologist? I had a fungal infection years ago that the GP didn’t manage terribly well but the dermatologist was great - they did swabs to make sure they were prescribing the right creams…
on the millionth round of daktarin from the GP for my son and GP has agreed if (when) that doesn’t work he’ll refer to dermatology….
