Hello

I'm 25 weeks and I'm struggling with wanting to buy things for the baby. I'm a FTM and I feel like if I buy anything something will happen. Or that my baby will be taken from me by my ex bd.

I've done nothing wrong but I feel like my baby is not my own. I can't explain it.

Has anyone ever felt like this? I feel silly saying it out loud.

I get it, I felt the same. We bought very little for our first until a couple of months before he was due. Some of our family bought bits earlier and it made me feel strangely uncomfortable, like they were cursing it. I also didn't want to cot up until he had arrived so, the evening he was born, DH had to go home and build it. I don’t think it’s unusual to feel this way so don’t feel silly!
