Ive had two miscarriages and am pregnant for the 3rd time, each time I've had this watery like discharge and it just has happened again with my third preg. Does anyone know if there is hope after this happens? Has it happened to anyone else? Last two times a week after it was followed by the end of the pregnancy so I am desparate for any ones news about this? Anything would be a help!

Lelk, I could be COMPLETELY wrong about this, but have you ever had or heard or Bacterial Vaginosis? It is more common than thrush and is often accompanied by a watery discharge as opposed to a creamy white thrush discharge. I had a mc last january. I went to my GUM clinic a few weeks later (which I'd planned to do just before finding out I was pg) with a watery discharge and was told then I had BV. They also gave me a leaflet which said in it that BV has been known to cause mc, prem birth, etc. I could have kicked myself that something as simple as a course of antibiotics could have prevented my mc.

Of course, it is all "could have"s and "maybe"s and "what if"s, but surely it is worth getting checked out asap?

And by the way, to my understanding a lot of GP's don't have facilities to test for BV, so best bet is to go to a GUM clinic (they normally have drop-in sessions and appts available).

Good luck. xxx

Lelk - it is normal to have more discharge than normal when you are pregnant, it's called leukhorria I believe. But if you are concerned, all you need to do is go to the docs and they will take a swab - just from your vagina, it's completely safe to the baby and then send it away for analysis.

Even if it is an infection it can be treated.

Chances are you are just a normal leaky pregnant lady - you will get used to it - all sorts of dripping occurs later on
