Hi ladies,

I know this has probably been asked hundreds of times, but I’m 7 weeks today and the past 3/4 days my boobs have gone from burning so badly when I sleep, to my nipples kind of hurting, to they only really hurt if I’m bouncing up and down (yes I tried jumping lol!!!) to- nothing really at all unless I try laying flat on my stomach (again tried this to see oh my gosh I’m crazy lol!!!) but they do still feel quite full and nausea seemed to kick in yesterday eve before dinner - I couldn’t open the fridge without wanting to vom!

I’m mainly worried as super sore boobs seemed to be my consistent symptom - I’m also on cyclogest pessaries due to this being an IVF pregnancy. So confused how my boobs have stopped being sore on them when they were hurting before egg collection lol!

Has anyone had disappearing boob soreness around 7 weeks and everything been ok? I know it’s out of my control but I’d love some stories. I’ve got my first scan on 14/02, so not long now. Just an anxious mess wanting my boobs to kill me haha x

I’m 27 weeks and my symptoms have fluctuated throughout. I had a lot of nausea and exhaustion in my first trimester but randomly was absolutely fine in week 7! It came back for weeks 8-12 though. I’ve had lots of symptoms that last for just a few days/weeks and then go. First trimester is a very anxious time but it gets easier post scans and when you can feel them move etc.

@imy thanks lovely! 🤞🏼✨ its nice to just hear reassurance from people, it’s such a horrible time isn’t it and I think we over analyse everything but I also know it’s out of my control and nothing I do wil change the outcome - so I don’t know why we still worry so much lol!!

I’ll come back and update after my scan on Tuesday xx

It is hard but just remember it’s normal to feel anxious and for symptoms to fluctuate. Good luck!

Hey @Izzie94x my symptoms fluctuated. I’ve had 2 MMC and 1 MC and also on Cyclogest. I’m 12 weeks today (scan tomorrow) but been having several private scans and all is well. My boobs stopped hurting completely as I enter week 11 but I think are just growing! Hard to know for sure as, like you, I’m touching and squeezing them every day! In the next week or so, you should be able to detect a heartbeat so call your local gynaecology unit and get booked in for an early scan at the early pregnancy unit. Do let us know how you get on but try not to worry, symptoms come and go and sounds like you are having some symptoms with the nausea 🤞🏼 x

@Els3086 congratulations and I hope your scan goes perfectly!!🥰 oh that’s amazing, thank you so much for the reassurance! I think the cyclogest doesn’t help either- I’ve had sore boobs since my egg collection, but they got worse and worse. Now they’re just bigger and fuller still thank god, but the pain has pretty much gone. Although, they were sore in the night last night which I was happy about 😂 but again, wake up, and not sore!

I’ve got my first scan with my clinic on 14th Feb, so fingers and toes crossed 🤞🏼 I will keep you updated and as for now, enjoy no burning boobs hahaha!! Xx

Congratulations! I'm just coming up to 21 weeks with my first pregnancy after IVF and everything is fine so far. I was on cyclogest too for the first 10 weeks and my boobs stopped hurting around 7 weeks too. It would come and go for around a week and seemed to be more sore at night before they stopped hurting all together. I panicked too and had a couple of private scans before my 12 weeks one. The first trimester is so hard anxiety wise, especially after going through IVF but it does get easier. Good luck with your scan!

allgoodthings84 · 09/02/2023 12:49

Yep my sore boobs disappeared at around 7 weeks for 2 whole days then it came back even worse 😂 I’m now 12 weeks and it’s worse some days than others as is the nausea. If it fades a bit it comes back. It’s totally normal for symptoms to fluctuate

Izzie94x · 09/02/2023 14:08

@Kelvie103 congratulations 🤍✨ what an amazing journey you’ve been on, (and stressful lol!) - thank you so so much for that. It literally sounds so so similar to me right now so that’s made me feel much better. I also had a friend who had an IVF pregnancy and her boobs did the same on cyclogest too! I’ve been floored with headaches the past 2 days, so hopeful my hormones are just changing and giving me different things to enjoy now. The anxiety is next level isn’t it, like you say, especially after the road to get to this point. I’m just trying to enjoy everyday and be grateful we’re this far and I am pregnant! 🤍✨

@allgoodthings84 thanks so much for your input too! It really does help, and saves me spending 8 hours of my day Googling and searching mumsnet for likewise posts 😂 I’m sure I would be moaning if I had constant symptoms, can’t win lol. Also congratulations!! It must feel good to hit that 12 week mark 🥰 I’m counting down the weeks!! Xx

@Izzie94x I asked the same question on here at the time 😂 and was reassured they would be back and sure enough they were

I’ll feel better after my scan next week as it’s hard not knowing as not showing yet and can’t feel anything of course. Had a private scan at 9 weeks and all good then so I’m really hoping it’s all good in there still

Izzie94x · 15/02/2023 07:53

Just thought I’d come back an update ✨ disappearing symptoms obviously didn’t mean much in my case - had our scan yesterday and baby is growing beautifully 🤍 x x
